This real robots dance video will change the definition of ‘Robo dance’
|Boston Dynamics Co. has released a new dance video of its robots who are showing off their amazing dance moves. In this video their different robots – the humanoid Atlas, the dog-shaped Spot and the box-juggling Handle- came together and danced to the tune of ‘Do you love me’. The Boston Dynamics Co was originally founded in 1992 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where it became known for its dog-like quadrupedal robots. It was recently purchased by Hyundai.
You might have seen humans performing ‘Robo dance’ like a break dance, however this would be one of the first kind of video wherein the robots are performing like humans to celebrate the New Year. Some of you may agree that they danced better than you. Their motor movements are so smooth.
Also check out this version of dance on the tune of south Indian / Tamil song Annathe Aaduraar. This is desi tadaka on the original video. This tamil song is from the movie Apoorva Sagodharargal, sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
